I studied painting at the Roehampton Institute, University of London and graduated with a BA Honours degree in 1981. I returned to my native county of Dorset in 1986 since when I have been a keen walker and observer of nature. My work is an extension of this. I have exhibited widely in galleries and during Art Trails for nearly 30 years. I moved to a studio at the Dorset Centre for Rural Skills in 2008 where I started running workshops. In 2012 I moved to my present studio, which is a converted cowshed at Gold Hill Organic Farm in Child Okeford. I run a programme of workshops throughout the year.
