Emsie Sharp is a talented and accomplished glassblower making both functional and abstract work. She specialises in stem ware. Her studio is next door to mine at Gold Hill Organic Farm.

 

 

 

 

The farm grows and sells fresh organic vegetables. They have also opened a gift shop with locally produced crafts and a cafe that serves homemade soups and salads. Teas, coffees and cakes are also available.

The DCRS is a not-for-profit training enterprise. For 10 years it has run specialist courses in traditional renovation of buildings.

Flowers of Hatch is one of my favourite places situated in beautiful rolling countryside between Shaftesbury and Tisbury. The Flower family have been farming in Hatch for years but now the cows are gone they have given one of the fields over to a pick-your-own flower scheme.

The cafe on site at Gold Hill Organic Farm  is dedicated to local produce. The menu is small but exciting with a soup, salad, stew or tart on offer. Homemade cakes and barista style coffees, and tea by Ahmad. Located at the foot of Hambledon Hill, a destination café for hikers ramblers and get togethers of all sorts.

The Tinca Gallery is a fantastic space in the thriving High Street of Portishead, North Somerset. You can see some of my paintings there along with other West Country artists.
