The linocut                                       The print

We will develop your initial sketch or photograph into a strong black and white image ready to transfer onto lino and learn various methods of carving, inking and printing to produce a series of unique prints.

We will be working in the light and spacious village hall at Ashmore which has a lovely outside area with benches for relaxing on during the breaks. It also has extensive grounds with access to beautiful country lanes for a breath of fresh air when you need it. There is plenty of parking space.

The day runs from 11 - 4 . Classes are very relaxed. There will be plenty of help and individual tuition during the day.

Teas and coffees available throughout the day. Bring a packed lunch. Maximum 10 people. £80 including all materials. (£150 for this class and for the class on Wednesday May 4th if booked together)
