This is a spontaneous and expressive way of creating images which allows for lots of experimentation. It is a great way to make bolder and stronger works using a variety of torn papers, foils, tissues and 'scraps' as a starting point to paint, draw and splatter on. This will add a whole new repertoire to your painting techniques.

 

You will spend the day learning the various techniques, creating interesting pieces of paper using wax resist, over-painting and mono-printing which will be used in building up layers for your final works. All materials provided.

 

We will be working in the light and spacious village hall at Ashmore which has a lovely outside area with benches for relaxing on during the breaks. It also has extensive grounds with access to beautiful country lanes for a breath of fresh air when you need it. There is plenty of parking space.
