This workshop is all about using experimental ways of building images using a variety of textures like plaster, glue, collage and sand. We will explore different thicknesses of paint and the use of collage materials, both organic and inorganic. This way of working can help free up our painting to produce strong, bold images.

 

The morning will consist of a demonstration, followed by experimenting with the materials provided. In the afternoon you will produce a finished piece of work based on what you have learnt.
